It’s hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner. Thankfully, with this Crisp, slightly tart pom-cider martini, you’ll have every reason to celebrate and keep the holiday traditions despite how tough this year has been.
Although you might not be able to visit or celebrate with family this year, you can definitely share the recipe for this pom-cider martini cocktail and schedule a zoom sip and taste soirée. Why not! Let all the good times roll as you sip this fall cocktail and create a new memory with loved ones.
This fall martini cocktail could easily be a mocktail, simply omit the vodka and/or angostura bitters. The taste won’t be the same, but you can make it your own. I’ll advise using flavored tonic water, alcohol-free gin (yes, it’s a thing), or AF sparkling wine. Also, you can use a mixture of grape juice with a splash of lime juice.
Speaking of fall cocktails, have you tried our smoretini a.k.a s’mores martini? It’s the best liquid version of a campfire snack.
This vodka cocktail can be made in a big batch, hello quarantine buddies! All you need to do is triple the recipe or factor in the number of people you’ll serve with the recipe below, which serves two.
HOW TO MAKE POM-CIDER MARTINI
To make this apple cider Pomegranate cocktail, you’ll need ;
- Pomegranate juice (100%) or substitute with real pomegranate syrup
- Vodka (good quality)
- Apple cider (unsweetened)
- Angostura orange bitters
- Agave syrup
- Ice cubes
- Elderflower tonic water
First, you’ll start by adding the ice cubes in a shaker. You can also use a mason jar if you don’t have a shaker. Next, add the pomegranate juice, vodka, apple cider, Angostura orange bitters, and agave syrup. Shake vigorously to incorporate. Gently strain the mixture into a serving glass.
Top with tonic water, not more than 2.oz.
You can garnish with apple slices, pomegranate wedges, or herbs. It’s up to you.
Sip responsibly!
There you have it, a chilled glass of crisp and slightly tart pom-cider martini to ease off a long work week.
